Job Description
Talon Defense seeks an experienced software engineer with 12+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in cyber capabilities to develop advanced software solutions for defense applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement complex software systems
Contribute to architecture decisions and technical planning
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers
Collaborate with security teams on secure development practices
Document technical approaches and solutions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
12+ years of software development experience
2+ years working on cyber capabilities
Strong proficiency in Python, C/C++, or similar languages
Understanding of security principles and secure coding
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in defense or government contracting
Low-level systems programming experience
Reverse engineering or vulnerability research background
Active security clearance
Compensation
$150,000 - $210,000 per year
