Sr. Systems Engineer
Location - Bedford, MA (25 miles from Boston, MA and Nashua, NH)
Clearance - Active TS/SCI
M-F Days
ONSITE
We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support complex engineering programs focused on system design, integration, testing, sustainment, and modernization. The ideal candidate has strong systems engineering experience, knowledge of digital engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and the ability to evaluate complex technical solutions.

• 10+ years of systems engineering experience
• Current Top Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI)
• Digital engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Systems integration, verification, validation, and testing
• Systems analysis, gap analysis, trade studies, and risk management
• System security, resiliency, and technical baseline management
• Communications systems and Modular Open Systems Architecture (MOSA), including Open Mission Systems
• Strong technical writing, presentation, and communication skills
Responsibilities
• Apply systems engineering principles throughout the program lifecycle, including design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
• Support digital engineering and MBSE activities.
• Conduct needs analysis, gap analysis, trade studies, and cost, schedule, performance, and security assessments.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to systems, processes, and engineering standards.
• Develop system requirements, specifications, cost estimates, and technical documentation.
• Ensure system components and external systems are properly integrated.
• Plan and conduct system-level testing, validate requirements, and analyze test results.
• Maintain the program’s technical baseline and support risk management activities.
• Provide engineering guidance, technical presentations, reports, and training.
• Recommend communications systems and open architecture solutions to support system modernization.
Qualifications
• 10+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, standards, methods, and system lifecycle processes.
• Experience evaluating complex technical issues, developing solutions, and making engineering recommendations.
• Ability to assess system performance, quality, security, cost, and effectiveness.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptability, sound judgment, and the ability to learn new technologies.
