Job Description

The Judge Group is hiring dedicated, compassionate, and reliable Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) and Paraprofessionals to support middle school students within the South Hampton, PA area.

In this role, you will work closely with teachers, administrators, therapists, and support staff to provide academic, behavioral, social, and personal care support to students in Emotional Support, Autism Support, and Life Skills classrooms.
Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 or small group academic, behavioral, and personal care support throughout the school day.
• Support students receiving services in Emotional Support, Autism Support, and Life Skills programs.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including feeding, toileting, changing/diapering, and hygiene.
• Implement behavior support plans and classroom strategies as directed by district staff.
• Help students navigate classroom participation, transitions, specials, lunch, and school activities.
• Ensure student safety, engagement, and well-being while maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required (higher education transcripts accepted).
• Experience: Previous experience working with children/adolescents or supporting students with special needs strongly preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, patience, flexibility, and behavioral intervention skills.
• Personal Care: Comfortable providing direct hands-on support (feeding, toileting, diapering/changing, and hygiene assistance).

Required Clearances & Certifications

• PA Clearances: FBI Clearance Department of Education (with UEID number, within 1 year), PA Criminal Background Clearance (within 1 year), and PA Child Abuse Clearance (within 1 year).
• Forms & Training: Act 24 Arrest/Conviction Report Form and Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training (within 5 years).
• Health & Safety: Negative TB test results (within 1 year) and CPR/First Aid Certification (in-person preferred).
