I have long term contract openings for Engineer with strong C++ development skills in NJ. Any Radar, modeling and simulation would be required as well. . Looking for candidates to support the design, implementation, test and maintenance of large scale, high fidelity radar modeling and simulation (M&S) products. The successful candidate will have strong analytic and communication skills and work well in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team environment. Job description: - Apply advanced software technologies and principles to develop innovative M&S solutions for in-service and next generation radar systems. - Perform trade studies, requirements development, and interface definition to translate customer requirements into software specifications. - Develop models and detailed simulations to assess system performance. Basic Qualifications : - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering or equivalent combined with 6+ years of related experience. - Proficient in and working knowledge of Unix, Linux, Python, C++. - Experience in an Agile workflow environment. - Strong customer focus with proven ability to drive complex technical issues/challenges to closure. - Demonstrated experience in working with multi-disciplinary engineering teams - U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret level clearance. Desired skills : - Advanced degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent. - Radar systems development experience including algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling and simulation - Experience with system engineering tools including DOORS or Rhapsody - Active DoD Secret level clearance or higher.
