Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Low Incidence Program

Location: Broomall, PA

Job Description

Seeking dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support our Low Incidence Program. In this role, you will evaluate, assess, and deliver specialized speech and language therapeutic interventions to students ages 5 through 21. Your work will empower students to enhance their communication skills, support language development, and foster meaningful participation in both educational and community environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluations & Assessments: Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations for students.
  • Therapy Delivery: Develop, implement, and adjust individualized therapy plans and direct intervention services across educational, home, and community settings.
  • Collaboration: Partner with families, educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic student support.
  • IEP/IFSP Participation: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) meetings as needed.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation, progress notes, and service logs.
Qualifications
Education & Licensure
  • Education: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • License: Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology License.
  • Certification: Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Certification (Educational Specialist or Speech-Language Impairment preferred).
  • ASHA: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
Experience
  • Experience working with school-age children (5-21) or young children in Early Intervention settings is preferred.

  • PA State License & PDE Certification (if applicable)
  • PA Child Abuse History Clearance
  • PA State Police Criminal Record Check
  • FBI Fingerprint Clearance
  • Act 168 Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure
  • Arrest/Conviction Disclosure Statement
  • Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Professional Personnel ID (PPID) Number
  • TB Test Clearance
