Location: Delaware County, PA
Schedule: 4 Days per Week
Position Overview
A school-based program is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to support students with significant physical, developmental, and multiple disabilities. The Physical Therapist will provide services that enhance students' functional mobility, independence, and participation within the educational environment.

Position Overview
A school-based program is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to support students with significant physical, developmental, and multiple disabilities. The Physical Therapist will provide services that enhance students' functional mobility, independence, and participation within the educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate students' gross motor skills, functional mobility, and physical development needs.
- Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans aligned with educational goals.
- Provide direct physical therapy services in accordance with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP development and reviews.
- Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to support student success.
- Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and positioning strategies to improve access and independence.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Monitor student progress and modify interventions as needed.
- Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist (PT) License required.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in educational or pediatric settings preferred.
- Experience supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapy License
- PA Child Abuse Clearance
- PA State Criminal Record Check
- FBI Fingerprint Clearance
- Act 168 Employment History Review
- Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- TB Test Clearance
