Location: Colorado Springs, CO/Schriever SFB, CO
RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive system of systems integration to deliver enterprise command and control capabilities
Guide development of enabling software, network, data, and platform capabilities
Facilitate digital transformation
Standardize engineering, integration, and test processes
Integrate cost and schedule constraints with the technical baseline
Define methodologies while continuously improving processes to acquire and integrate data
Identify other space domain data sources
Provide advice, guidance, and technical solutions for the integration of both unstructured and structure data
Evaluate existing data architecture and initiate strategic steps to enable modernization
Analyze and establish data management plans, processes, products, and tools to improve the overall data integration strategy currently in place
Collaborate with US Government/mission partners, international partners, industry, FFRDCs, academia, etc. to define, architect, and implement data sharing procedures in the Unified Data Library (UDL) and Warp Core (Kobayashi Maru data library)
Support development of the UDL and Warp Core architecture to support software applications development
Support the software and hardware design activities of data sharing architecture to include cross-domain solutions, Virtual Private Network architectures, cloud architectures
Work with Government accreditors to ensure the architecture is compliant across multiple cyber boundaries
Support operational strategies aligned within your program and initiatives that optimize processes, enhance productivity, and ensure quality across all program functions.
Ensure 100% of planned hours are worked and recorded
Identify and forward to your leadership any opportunities that could lead to growth within your work area
Ensure all contractual deliverables are met/exceeded to the customer's satisfaction
Completes personal PDP and attend Staff Meeting and Storytime (with camera on)
Within your program, build productive and positive professional relationships with clients
Performs other related duties as assigned
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Clearance: TS/SCI with SAP Eligibility
Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, STEM, or Cyber and 8+ years of relevant experience
Design and maintain databases, including management, setup, and optimization
Design, build, and maintain interfaces between difference data structures and related applications
Perform data integration in distributed cloud/hybrid environments
Design and implement data security policies to protect sensitive information from being compromised
Recognize and recommend changes to operations procedures to improve data integration activities
Record, track, and report integration performance and software quality metrics
Document and demonstrate solutions via flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code
Author scripts to automate data integration processes to improve efficiency and reduce human error
Work in an Agile software development environment that requires collaboration with development teams
Manage data integration efforts for all phases of the software development life cycle
Adequate knowledge of United Data Library, Warp Core, and other DoD/Space Force/Space Domain Awareness data sources
$121,215 - $145,000 a year
