Job Description
Location: Wayne, PA
The RBT will work 1:1 with students to provide behavioral and academic support as part of their individualized educational programs. This role supports students with diverse needs, including those requiring assistance with feeding, toileting, positioning, and monitoring health‑related concerns. The RBT collaborates closely with the student's case manager and classroom team to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans and instructional strategies.
- Redirect student attention and support engagement with classroom tasks
- Provide repetition, clarification, and reinforcement of directions
- Facilitate guided play and positive peer interactions
- Deliver praise and reinforcement for on‑task behavior and expected social skills
- Model appropriate language and assist with problem‑solving
- Support behavioral expectations and intervention strategies
- Collect and record data accurately
- Assist with personal care needs (feeding, toileting, positioning)
- Monitor student health and safety throughout the school day
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR certification prior to start date
- Experience in Autistic Support, Special Education, Behavioral Health, or Mental Health settings
