Key Responsibilities
- 1:1 Student Support - Provide individualized assistance to students with autism across academic, behavioral, and daily living domains.
- Instructional Assistance - Support learning in cognitive development, communication, motor skills, and social‑emotional growth.
- Personal Care Support - Assist with feeding, toileting, hygiene, and mobility as needed.
- Behavior Support - Implement positive behavior strategies aligned with IEP goals and monitor student progress.
- Collaboration - Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to maintain consistent programming.
- Documentation - Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress, and behavioral data.
- Training Participation - Attend required sessions on autism support, medical protocols, and instructional strategies.
- Equipment Assistance - Support students with orthopedic equipment and proper positioning.
- Inclusive Practices - Encourage positive peer interactions and help foster an inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Experience working with children or students (required)
- Preferred: Background in Autistic Support, Special Education, Behavioral/Mental Health, or related settings
- Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification prior to start date

- PA Criminal Background Check
- PA FBI Fingerprint Clearance
- TB Test Results
- High School Diploma or Transcripts
- CPR/First Aid Certification
