Special Education Teacher - Early Intervention Program (Full‑Time)

Location: Reading, PA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-3:30 PM (30‑minute unpaid lunch)

Start Date: August 2026

School Year: 2026-2027
About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our Early Intervention program in Reading, PA. This is a full‑time, in‑person position supporting young learners and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide high‑quality educational services.
Education Requirements

Candidates must hold one of the following degrees:

• Early Childhood Education
• Special Education

A PA Teaching Certification in Early Childhood Education and/or Special Education is required.
Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 8:00 AM-3:30 PM (35 paid hours per week)
• 30‑minute unpaid lunch
• Full‑time assignment through the end of the school year

Required Credentials & Clearances

(All clearances must be dated within the last 12 months unless otherwise noted.)

• PA Child Abuse Clearance
• PA Criminal History Clearance
• FBI Fingerprinting Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or related field
• PA Teaching Certification (Special Education and/or Early Childhood Education)
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• ACT 24 Arrest/Conviction Report & Certification
• ACT 168 Employment History Review (Letter of Assurance)
• ACT 126 Child Abuse Recognition & Reporting Training
• Tuberculosis Test (completed within the last 3 months)
