Registered Behavioral Technician (Full‑Time, M-F)
Locations: Assigned to one of five school sites
Schedules:
We are seeking a Registered Behavioral Technician to support students with behavioral needs and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment. This role works closely with teachers, counselors, and support staff to implement behavior plans, assist with crisis intervention, and promote student success.

Schedules:
- Elementary: 8:45 AM - 3:45 PM
- Secondary: 7:45 AM - 2:45 PM
- Lunch: 30‑minute unpaid break
- Contract: Guaranteed through the end of the 2026-2027 school year
We are seeking a Registered Behavioral Technician to support students with behavioral needs and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment. This role works closely with teachers, counselors, and support staff to implement behavior plans, assist with crisis intervention, and promote student success.
Key Responsibilities
- Behavioral assessment - Identify student needs and behavioral challenges.
- Develop behavior plans - Collaborate with school teams to create individualized BIPs.
- Implement interventions - Carry out strategies consistently to support positive behavior.
- Data collection - Track student progress and intervention effectiveness.
- Crisis management - Safely de‑escalate situations when needed.
- Communication - Keep teachers, parents, and staff informed.
- Professional development - Stay current on best practices.
- Team collaboration - Work with special education and counseling teams.
- Promote inclusion - Support a respectful, diverse school culture.
- RBT Certification (have passed the assessment)
- Experience working with students with behavioral or special needs
- Knowledge of evidence‑based behavior management strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Crisis intervention training (CPI, SCM, etc.) preferred
- Patience, empathy, and commitment to student well‑being
- PA Child Abuse Clearance (within 1 year)
- PA State Police Criminal Background Check (within 1 year)
- FBI Fingerprinting for PA (within 1 year)
- TB Test (within 3 months)
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training
