Job Description
Our client is seeking a Deputy Project Manager to support delivery of AI-enabled virtual persona and identity protection solutions for a federal client at USCYBERCOM in Maryland. This role works closely with the Program Manager to execute contract deliverables, manage daily client interactions, and align cross-functional technical teams within classified, mission-driven environments. The position is hands-on, fast-paced, and suited for professionals with deep DoD or Intelligence Community experience.
Education & Certification Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a technical, computer science or IT Related field
PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification preferred
Clearance Requirements:
U.S. citizenship required
Active TS/SCI security clearance required
CI Polygraph preferred
Preference for candidates with an existing badge to the USCYBERCOM campus
Responsibilities:
Support the Program Manager in planning, scheduling, risk tracking, and reporting across all contract workstreams
Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for the federal client
Manage client relationships with professionalism and responsiveness
Monitor scope, schedule, and budget and proactively identify and escalate risks
Coordinate across AI/ML, cybersecurity, and engineering teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
Ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations, security requirements, and contract terms
Contribute to proposal efforts, contract modifications, and program documentation
Help develop and refine internal program management processes and tools as the program scales
Qualifications:
10+ years of project or program management experience supporting federal government contracts
Direct experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community clients
Demonstrated ability to manage technical teams delivering AI, cybersecurity, or emerging technology solutions
Strong written and verbal communication skills with comfort presenting to government stakeholders
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, startup environment with evolving priorities
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with identity technology, virtual persona systems, or information operations programs
Experience supporting programs with classified deliverables on government systems
Background in agile delivery within a government contract context
