This role requires deep technical expertise in RPA platforms, strong architecture skills, and the ability to drive automation strategy while mentoring development teams.

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled RPA Developer Subject Matter Expert (SME I) to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade automation solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise in RPA platforms, strong architecture skills, and the ability to drive automation strategy while mentoring development teams.
Job Duties
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable RPA solutions using platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism
- Act as the technical authority for RPA initiatives, defining best practices, standards, and reusable frameworks
- Analyze complex business processes and translate them into efficient automation workflows
- Integrate RPA solutions with enterprise systems, APIs, databases, and web services (REST/SOAP)
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and IT teams to ensure end-to-end solution alignment
- Establish and enforce RPA governance, security standards, and development best practices
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable contractor fitness determination.
- 3-5 years of experience in RPA development, with at least 2+ years in a lead or SME role
- Hands-on expertise with one or more RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism)
- Experience with API integrations, databases (SQL), and enterprise application automation
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Experience implementing exception handling, logging frameworks, and reusable components
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Experience with AI/ML-enabled automation.
Nice to Have Qualifications
- Familiarity with process mining tools (e.g., Celonis, UiPath Process Mining)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and RPA orchestration in cloud environments
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools (Git, Azure DevOps)
