TS/SCI + ACTIVE Full-Scope Polygraph Required
Location: Various On-Site Locations in the Annapolis Junction area
Junior- to senior-level positions are available.
Build and lead mission application systems that operate reliably at scale to support real operational workflows inside larger mission environments.

What You’ll Do
Design, develop, and maintain complex mission applications and backend services.
Translate user and system requirements into scalable, well‑structured software designs.
Build and extend backend services using modern Java and Spring‑based frameworks.
Design and implement APIs, messaging interfaces, and data access layers.
Integrate applications into containerized and distributed runtime environments.
Improve performance, reliability, and operational readiness of production systems.
Provide technical leadership, guiding design decisions and mentoring engineers.
Collaborate with system and infrastructure teams on architecture and tradeoffs.
What You’ll Need
Experience with backend development in Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem.
Familiarity with service‑oriented architectures, asynchronous messaging, and API design.
Experience working with data stores such as Oracle, Elasticsearch, or similar systems.
Exposure to containerized or cloud‑deployed environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Comfort working in Linux environments with Git‑based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
Interest in owning software behavior beyond development—through deployment, operation, and long‑term sustainment.
Experience & Education
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field required with a minimum of 3 years' (junior-level), 8 years' (mid-level), or 12 years' (senior-level) career experience in software engineering or application development.
