Overview
Our clients, a rapidly growing/expanding AI-focused software development company supporting federal agencies, is seeking a Cyber Red Team Specialist.

Work sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and identity technology. Operates with a startup mentality focused on technical depth, creative problem-solving, and ownership.
Work Location
• Columbia, MD
• On-site work across both low-side (commercial internet) and high-side (classified) environments
• Time split between office and customer facilities
• Schedule: Monday–Friday; occasional after-hours work for time-sensitive operational testing or technique validation
Role Summary
Support cyber operations and red team activities to evaluate platforms, identify vulnerabilities, and develop repeatable methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and validate cyber methodologies
• Conduct platform and identity testing
• Identify vulnerabilities and document findings
• Configure secure environments
• Support evaluation databases
• Create documentation and workflows
• Collaborate with ML teams
• Stay current on cyber trends
Required Qualifications
• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly
• 3+ years cyber or red team experience
• Fraud detection platform knowledge
• Operational security experience
• Strong documentation skills
• U.S. citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
• Penetration testing background
• Identity system experience
• Mobile platform knowledge
• Security certifications
What Success Looks Like
• 30 days: Learn systems
• 90 days: Execute testing independently
• 6 months: Develop reusable methodologies
