RIS I is the delivery of regional IT services to the end user. We offer support of end user devices including desktop, workplace peripherals, and voice and video devices. We support local and campus area networks, including wireless and cable plant.

AT&T is seeking a communications professional to support a large government program, delivering clear, timely internal and external communications aligned to mission objectives and stakeholder priorities.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, advanced in Microsoft Office, and able to produce executive-ready presentations and communications deliverables that meet program standards for senior government and industry audiences.

Deliverables must be visually engaging, compliant with branding and accessibility expectations, and developed with accuracy and discretion in a schedule-driven, customer-facing environment.

Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Support a large government program by developing and delivering executive-ready communications and presentations. This role partners with program leadership and stakeholders to translate complex information into clear narratives and polished visual products, while ensuring quality, compliance with branding/accessibility standards, and on-time delivery.
  • This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.
  • Develop executive-ready briefings, presentations, and written communications in support of program priorities.
  • Create original graphics, charts, and data visualizations; advise on layout and design to improve clarity and impact.
  • Perform quality control to ensure deliverables are accurate, grammatically correct, and compliant with branding, formatting, and accessibility requirements.
  • Support day-to-day communications operations and assist in executing communication strategies and initiatives.
  • Draft and coordinate newsletters, announcements, internal updates, and other communication materials.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather inputs, confirm requirements, and align messaging to organizational goals.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings to develop communication approaches and visual solutions to complex problems.
  • Continuously improve and standardize templates and deliverables to increase consistency, readability, and visual quality.
  • Work with content owners to refine messages and select effective data visualizations for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Provide responsive support for standard and ad hoc requests from management and technical teams.
  • Identify and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies that could impact deliverable quality or timelines.
  • Track deliverables, deadlines, and status to support schedule-driven execution and stakeholder reporting.

Required Qualifications:

Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Between seven (7) and nine (9) years of relevant experience (may be satisfied through a combination of education and work experience) - Master's degree = 6 years of experience or Bachelor's degree = 4 years of experience or Associate's degree = 2 years of experience . Degrees must be from an accredited college or university.

Experience Requirements:
  • Knowledge management or learning development experience.
  • Strong facilitation, program/activity management, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Expert-level PowerPoint and Microsoft Word skills; Excel experience preferred (especially integrating with PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite to produce professional collateral.
  • Ability to incorporate multimedia into Microsoft Office documents and presentations.
  • Experience supporting communications, operations, or administrative teams.
  • Familiarity with corporate communications processes.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Demonstrated collaboration and teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Design or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
