Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Two campus sites in Royersford, PA (across the street from one another)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:45 AM-3:15 PM
Assignment Type: Maternity leave coverage from mid‑April through January 2027 (full‑time or part‑time; fully on‑site)
Role Summary
The Speech Language Pathologist will provide comprehensive speech and language services for students in grades 8 and 9. Responsibilities include evaluations, IEP development, direct therapy, and collaboration with staff and families in alignment with IDEA, PA Chapter 14, and Act 212.

Role Summary
The Speech Language Pathologist will provide comprehensive speech and language services for students in grades 8 and 9. Responsibilities include evaluations, IEP development, direct therapy, and collaboration with staff and families in alignment with IDEA, PA Chapter 14, and Act 212.
Key Responsibilities
- Accept and process referrals for students with suspected communication disorders
- Conduct screenings and evaluations individually or as part of multidisciplinary or trans‑disciplinary teams
- Identify communication disorders and generate evaluation reports
- Develop, review, and revise IEPs in collaboration with families and school staff
- Provide appropriate intervention services (individual, group, classroom‑based, etc.)
- Consult with teachers, parents, and staff regarding communication needs and literacy connections
- Support training and curriculum development related to communication and literacy
- Participate in grant‑related projects involving communication and literacy initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Speech/Language Pathology required; Master's preferred
- Completion of CF year required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency required
- Experience evaluating and supporting students with special needs or developmental delays
- Experience developing and implementing educational programs
- Reliable transportation (car preferred; public transit acceptable)
