Software Engineer – Full-Stack
This role directly supports a critical customer training mission, requiring strong technical execution in dynamic environments and the ability to design and implement innovative training scenarios that support the development of the next generation of operators.
Job Roles
- Design and develop novel software applications within an operator training environment using relevant programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++.
- Automate existing manual deployment processes to increase training scenario throughput and improve reliability through scalable automation workflows.
- Design, document, and maintain network architectures, configurations, and operational procedures that support training environments.
- Solicit requirements and feedback from mission customers, users, and cross‑functional teams (e.g., IT and software development) to ensure effective training execution and scenario deployment.
- Build and maintain configuration documentation, deployment procedures, and system references to support repeatable training operations.
Required Skills
- Experience designing and implementing full‑stack architectures and applications.
- Experience working with modern development frameworks.
- Background in user interface design and development, including integration with backend APIs.
- Experience with requirements gathering, system design, and architecture planning.
- Understanding of network architectures, topologies, and their application within training or operational environments.
- Experience with exploitation or security concepts in both Windows and Unix environments.
- Experience designing or supporting network architectures.
- Strong understanding of VMware vSphere and virtual machine environments.
- Familiarity with the CNO operational environment.
- Development experience with front‑end and backend technologies such as Java, MongoDB, and Python.
Education & Experience
- 12 years of relevant professional experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or four (4) additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
