Position Title

Schedule
- Elementary: 8:45 AM - 3:45 PM
- Secondary: 7:45 AM - 2:45 PM
- Lunch: Unpaid 30‑minute break
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Contract: Guaranteed through the end of the school year
Job Summary
The Registered Behavioral Technician supports a positive, inclusive learning environment by assisting students with behavioral needs. This role works closely with students, teachers, and school staff to implement behavior strategies, monitor progress, and help maintain a safe and supportive school climate.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct behavioral assessments to identify student needs.
- Collaborate with staff to develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Implement behavior strategies and interventions consistently.
- Collect and track behavioral data to monitor progress.
- Assist with crisis response and de‑escalation when needed.
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and support teams.
- Participate in ongoing professional development related to behavior support.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Promote an inclusive, respectful school environment.
Qualifications
- RBT Certification
- Experience supporting students with behavioral or special needs
- Knowledge of evidence‑based behavior management strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Crisis intervention training (CPI, Safe Crisis Management, etc.) preferred
- Patience, empathy, and commitment to student well‑being
Required Clearances
- PA Child Abuse Clearance (within 1 year)
- PA FBI Fingerprinting (within 1 year)
- PA State Police Background Check (within 1 year)
- TB Test (within 3 months)
- CPR and First Aid
- Mandated Reporter Training (Act 126)
