Position Overview:

The Senior Management Analyst provides expert analytical, operational, and administrative support to Air Combat Command, advising senior leadership on program performance, organizational effectiveness, and mission-critical initiatives. This role evaluates processes, develops strategic recommendations, and implements solutions to improve efficiency, compliance, and operational readiness. The position requires comprehensive knowledge of DoW policies, ACC operations, and organizational management principles.

Location: Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide senior-level leadership and management for ACC programs, projects, and operations, leveraging extensive experience in senior analytical and management roles.
  • Serve as a senior advisor to ACC leadership, offering guidance on program performance, organizational operations, and administrative processes.
  • Lead strategic initiatives, defining objectives, scope, and deliverables, while ensuring alignment with mission priorities and executive-level expectations.
  • Oversee key business enablers, identify needs for new tools, and ensure effective allocation of resources to meet mission requirements.
  • Manage complex projects and multiple teams across functional areas, ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes, and resolving process, technical, and stakeholder challenges.
  • Conduct process and productivity improvements, systems alignment, organizational assessments, program audits, and evaluations to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Apply problem-solving techniques and quality assurance principles to analyze and resolve operational, process, and technical issues.
  • Define project scope and approach, drive business strategy and planning changes, and integrate business and technical solutions to support organizational objectives.
  • Prepare, review, and validate reports, briefings, and official correspondence to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with leadership intent.
  • Advise and support stakeholders in achieving desired program results, providing actionable recommendations, alternatives, and risk assessments.
  • Represent ACC in senior-level meetings, interagency forums, and cross-functional engagements, championing initiatives, innovation, and mission success.

Minimum Qualifications Including Certificates:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma) or equivalent military experience are desirable.
