Job Description
Job Title: AI / Machine Learning Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a highly capable engineer to support advanced analytics, machine learning model development, and data-driven software solutions within a mission-focused research and operational environment. This work directly supports government-sponsored efforts involving large-scale, real-world datasets and the development of predictive and analytic capabilities that produce actionable insight.
The ideal candidate will contribute across the full lifecycle of data and model development—from data ingestion and processing to algorithm design, implementation, validation, and deployment in support of operational objectives.
Candidates must have an active TS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph.
This is a time-sensitive opportunity. Qualified candidates must be identified no later than 30 March 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop software-based solutions to support data analysis, modeling, and automation efforts
• Gather, clean, process, and manage raw data
• Design, implement, and evaluate machine learning models and predictive algorithms for large-scale data analysis
• Develop tools and processes to assess, monitor, and improve data quality and analytic accuracy
• Build data visualization tools, dashboards, and reporting capabilities
• Implement automated workflows and pipelines for data collection, processing, and model execution
• Contribute to integration, testing, and validation of analytic software within larger system architectures
Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a closely related field
• Strong foundation in machine learning, data analysis, and statistical methods
• Experience developing software solutions for data-centric or analytic problems
• Demonstrated ability to work with large, complex, noisy, or incomplete datasets
• Experience designing and implementing predictive models or machine learning algorithms
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of technical efforts, and operate effectively in dynamic, research-oriented environments
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with data pipeline development, feature engineering, and model evaluation
• Familiarity with continuous integration practices, including development of unit and integration tests
• Knowledge of intelligence-related domains (e.g. COMINT, ELINT, FISINT)
• Experience with signal data processing or related analytic domains
• Experience supporting prototype development and transitioning analytic capabilities into operational environments
If you are motivated by developing machine learning solutions, working with complex real-world data, and delivering impactful analytic capabilities in a mission-driven environment, we encourage you to apply.
