IT - Support
Columbia, MD (On-Site/Office)
This position will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems along with the daily activities of configuration and operation of those systems. In addition, will provide Tier 2 support including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
Clearance
U.S. citizenship with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
Required Skills
- Linux, Windows, Cisco IOS, CatOS, Juniper
- Physical installation and configuration, and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols.
- Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols.
- Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls.
- Able to support on-call requirements.
- Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking.
Qualifications
Fifteen years demonstrable experience (with BS degree, or 20 years without) in Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
