This position will provide Network support requiring system level design, architecture or enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls.
Clearance
U.S. citizenship with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
Required Skills
- Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC)
- Physical installation and configuration, and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols.
- Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols.
- Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls.
- Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite.
- Able to support on-call requirements.
- Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking.
- Virtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers
Qualifications
- Five years demonstrable experience (with degree, or seven without) in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection.
- Must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks.
