Senior Visual Analyst

Overview

BigBear.ai is seeking a Senior Visual Analyst to support the Data Analytics Team (DAT) by providing expert-level web design, development, and hosting support. In this role, you will create high-quality graphics and visual assets to enhance content generation and hosting efforts. You will act as the primary point of contact for websites and graphic design, offering guidance on best practices and recommending proper implementation strategies for business solutions. You will interact professionally with senior leadership, interpreting requirements to deliver impactful graphics and websites that align with organizational goals. What you will do

• Web Design & Maintenance: Design and maintain interactive websites and other visual assets for the customer
• Requirements Gathering: Gather feedback and complex requirements to create necessary assets
• Web Development: Leverage HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery or Content Management Systems to create and maintain sites
• AI Integration: Utilize AI and content generation tools to enhance workflows and improve efficiency
• Mentorship: Mentor junior teammates and provide guidance on best practices
• Site Deployment: Design, develop, configure, implement, deploy, and maintain website deployments
• Scripting: Implement JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS to support business processes and related data
• Content Manipulation: Understand and manipulate web content while leveraging content generation tools
• Graphic Design: Translate broad concepts into pointed graphics that visually represent written words; design and create graphics to support organizational activities and initiatives
• Solution Strategies: Propose business solution strategies and design approaches based on customer needs, processes, and technical feasibility

What you need to have

• Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
• Education & Experience:
  • 10 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5 years with a Master's degree (4 additional years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree)
• Technical Expertise:
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Illustrator
  • 5+ years' experience designing and implementing customer web-based solutions using industry web platform technologies
  • 5+ years' experience gathering customer requirements and leading process or requirements gathering sessions
  • Demonstrated experience in UI/UX design using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong understanding of web and content management architecture and web security best practices
  • Experience with web design tools: JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS

What we'd like you to have

• Web Hosting Expertise: Experience with web hosting/monitoring
• Serverless Architectures: Knowledge of serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda)
• Network Profiling: Familiarity with network profiling and device fingerprinting
• AI Content Generation: Experience with AI-generated content and agentic coding
• Hosting Solutions: Experience with Nginx, WordPress, or other web content hosting solutions
• Atlassian Tools: Experience with the Atlassian Suite (Confluence, Jira)
