What you will do
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team to understand and address the needs of analysts and developers
- Software Development: Design, architect, and implement robust and scalable software solutions that align with project objectives and requirements
- Optimization: Continuously improve and optimize the existing codebase to ensure high performance and maintainability
- Project Ownership: Independently drive projects, taking ownership of the entire development lifecycle
- Automation: Assist with automating development tasks and implementing CI/CD workflows and development best practices, such as testing
- Customer Communication: Emphasize customer communication and gather feedback on project status and results
- Code Reviews: Perform thorough code reviews to ensure quality and compliance
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Elicit requirements from stakeholders to align solutions with mission objectives
- Documentation: Write detailed documentation to support compliance processes and operational workflows
What you need to have
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
- Education & Experience:
- B.S. in a technical discipline or 4 additional years of experience in place of a degree
- 8 years of experience in production-grade software development
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and Java
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git for collaborative development
- Experience using the command line in UNIX or Linux environments
- Experience working in multi-node networked environments
- Adaptability: Willingness and ability to learn and adapt quickly on the job, including internal systems unique to CNO
- Problem-Solving: A problem-solving mindset and a passion for delivering quality solutions
What we'd like you to have
- CNO Experience: Experience working within the CNO customer space
- DevOps Expertise: Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes, such as automated testing and CI/CD workflows
- Containerization: Experience with service containerization and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes
- SIGINT Knowledge: Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems
