Position Overview:
Are you a seasoned software engineer looking for an exciting new challenge? Edgesource is seeking an Expert Software Developer to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in the redesign, development, and deployment of a critical mission system.
After over a decade of mission success with our original Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) based system, it's time to modernize. We will be performing a lift and shift from our current secure enclave to a new enclave running on top of Red Hat OpenShift. This transition presents the perfect opportunity for an experienced software engineer who is eager to write software and explore the world of DevOps and cloud-based architecture.

Key Responsibilities:
- Software Development: Spend most of your time writing software across a variety of languages and platforms.
- System Modernization: Redesign, develop, and deploy a mission-critical ESB-based system.
- Cloud Migration: Execute a lift and shift from the current secure enclave to a new enclave using Red Hat OpenShift.
- Agile Methodologies: Participate in daily stand-ups, bi-weekly sprint planning, and quarterly planning increment events.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 10 years of software development experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 15 years without.
Desired Qualifications (Not Required):
- Proficiency in one or multiple programming languages and technologies, including:
- C# (.NET Framework, .NET Core)
- Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript
- Python
- Relational Databases (preference for SQL Server and PostgreSQL)
- Containerization
