Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:50 AM-3:50 PM

- Provide 1:1 support to a student with autism, including academic assistance, behavior plan implementation, and daily routines.
- Support instruction in cognitive development, communication, motor skills, and social‑emotional learning.
- Assist with personal care needs such as feeding, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
- Implement positive behavior support strategies aligned with IEP goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to maintain consistent programming.
- Document daily activities, progress, and observations accurately.
- Participate in required training related to autism support, medical procedures, and instructional strategies.
- Assist with orthopedic equipment and student positioning when needed.
- Encourage positive peer interactions and help foster an inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Experience working with children or students (required)
- Preferred experience in Autistic Support, Special Education, or Behavioral/Mental Health settings
- CPR and First Aid certification required prior to start date
