Role Overview
Seeking a senior-level Manufacturing Engineer to serve as a subject matter expert (SME) within Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), driving producibility, tooling strategy, and build integration for complex aerospace systems. This role leads the refinement and implementation of conceptual designs, optimizes manufacturing plans, and ensures seamless execution of engineering changes across commodities.

Role Overview

This role leads the refinement and implementation of conceptual designs, optimizes manufacturing plans, and ensures seamless execution of engineering changes across commodities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and build plan changes with minimal disruption, maximizing value through collaborative engineering processes
- Integrate engineering changes into affected commodities and manage Build Integration milestones
- Provide technical oversight and approval of manufacturing approaches, products, and processes
- Maintain visibility of active design changes and associated risks to program schedules
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment across commodities
- Develop and implement manufacturing and installation plans, including shipside support
- Contribute to process and tool improvement initiatives to enhance team performance
- Document and communicate producibility best practices across teams
- Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge transfer
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in STEM (ABET-accredited) and 10+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- 5+ years supporting development of engineering technical data packages for aerospace components
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing and collaborative problem-solving
- Proficiency in CATIA
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with IVT (Integrated Visualization Tool)
- Experience with GoldEsp
- Prior manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
