We have multiple Software Engineering opportunities open in Gaithersburg MD, Tucson AZ, St Louis MO, and Chantilly VA. Positions are open at the Jr, Mid, Sr, and SME levels. 0-4yrs, 4-8yrs, 8-12yrs, and 12+yrs of experience respectively for each level of the role. The positions require someone to being a strong Java or Python Developer. JavaScript, Angular OR React, and AWS experience are strong desired. Mid-Level Software Developer (4–8 years)
Overview:
Mid-level developer responsible for designing and implementing scalable web applications. You’ll work closely with team leads and product owners to build both front-end and back-end components using Python or Java, with strong front-end JavaScript framework experience.
Responsibilities:
• All aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding, and automated testing within an Agile model.
• Work with a lead development group in Tucson Arizona who will define tasks and schedules. Typical duties include developing new UI front end user interfaces using JavaScript. The successful candidate will also be responsible for backend implementation and design inputs.

• Resolve obstacles for the development team, working collaboratively with the Product Owner, technical leadership, and other engineers.
• Write automated test scripts for developed code.
Requirements:
• Current active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
• Strong proficiency with the following technologies:
- Web: HTML, CSS, Django, and REST APIs
- Object-oriented Programming: Python, Java, JavaScript, and REACT
- Relational Database: Postgres
- Operating System: Windows, Linux
- Version Control System: Git, Jira
• Deep understanding of modern software design patterns and coding standards.
• Experience architecting, developing, and delivering complex software systems into production.
• Working knowledge of Agile development and continuous integration/continuous delivery methodologies and tools.
• Strong, self-motivated desire to learn new programming languages, tools, frameworks, and techniques.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python and REACT.
• Software Architectures: Client-Server, Model-View-Controller.
• Cloud Exposure:
- Multi-cloud architectures: AWS, IBM, Google, Azure, and Oracle.

Senior-level engineer responsible for leading software development efforts, guiding architectural decisions, and mentoring junior developers. Expected to independently own complex features and ensure high-quality deliverables within Agile teams.
Responsibilities:
• The responsibilities for this position include all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding, and automated testing within an Agile model.
• Resolve various tasks as prioritized by the team product owner.
• Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, operating within well-defined parameters.
• Take ownership of delivering enhancements within a system or application.
