RIS I is the delivery of regional IT services to the end user. We offer support of end user devices including desktop, workplace peripherals, and voice and video devices. We support local and campus area networks, including wireless and cable plant.
AT&T has an opening for a Staffing Specialist (PJM3) to join a team that provides resource management support activities within the Columbia Program Office (CPO) with a particular focus on RIS I. Each member of the team has the opportunity to assist and take ownership of different areas of AT&Ts broader professional services business.
The job duties of the staffing specialist are as follows:

- Establishing and maintaining relationships with subcontractor staffing personnel with the goal of effectively managing the subcontract relationship for optimal staffing activities
- Producing ad hoc reports with minimal guidance to support/inform Recruiting and Program Management regarding retention, hiring trends, market salaries and other staffing related items to drive business goals
- Evaluating and understanding resumes to ensure compliance with contract requirements and best placement/alignment for all AT&T and subcontractor candidates
- Assisting with Management and Subcontractor communication on any changes to personnel status (i.e., increases, moves, removals) and viability.
- Attend meetings individually/team members with program leadership, senior business unit leadership and interface with AT&T corporate leadership on matters regarding staffing activities
- Monitor and manage staffing communications through email distribution lists and associated organizations that interface with the various program staffing activities
- Monitor staffing portal, and provide near real-time status of openings and provide status updates to stakeholders
- Communicate with Management, technical, and staffing personnel to coordinate interview and hiring actions with candidates.
- Define, create, implement and continuously improve staffing workflow processes to ensure candidate is getting the attention required.
- Support proposal efforts such as resume templating, skills/qualification alignment, labor mapping and other business growth activities
- Support business unit initiatives for improvement of the work culture, business growth and other associated activities to create a well run, people centric work environment.

Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience. The following skills are required to be successful in this role
- Experienced user of Microsoft suite of products is a must for this position with experience in database entry and modification.
- Working in a close-knit team environment
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Good time management for keeping track of multiple deadlines and activities
- Professional communication skills that can bring about consensus
- Willingness to lead new initiatives
