Kryptauri is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer specializing in Cisco Network Automation to support a dynamic mission-focused team. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in hands-on, high-impact environments—building, automating, and optimizing complex operational network systems that directly support national security missions.
As part of a collaborative engineering team, you’ll design and deploy automated network solutions that enhance system visibility, improve resiliency, and streamline mission-critical workflows. You’ll see your work come to life daily as operators use the tools and infrastructure you help develop to drive real-world outcomes.
What You’ll Do
• Design and maintain automated solutions for Cisco Catalyst Center, ISE, and SD-WAN environments.
• Build and refine automation workflows for provisioning, configuration, and security enforcement.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance network automation processes for scalability and performance.
• Develop tools and metrics to monitor network health, performance, and reliability.
• Proactively identify and resolve operational issues, communicating status and insights to mission stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with analysts, developers, and operators to deliver seamless automation and visibility across systems.
What We’re Looking For
• Strong knowledge of Cisco enterprise technologies, including Catalyst Center, ISE, SD-WAN, and routing/switching.
• Proven experience with network automation and scripting.
• Expertise in enterprise network protocols and software-defined networking (SDN).
• Familiarity with version control systems and Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience automating manual network processes to increase efficiency.
Nice to Have
• Industry certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, or Cisco DevNet.
• Experience with containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience deploying and maintaining open-source tools within secure environments.
