Role Overview
We are seeking a senior-level System Administrator/Engineer with extensive VMware expertise. The role includes architecting and redesigning current systems to meet evolving requirements while developing new, improved designs as we migrate to a Hardware as a Service (HWaaS) platform.
Experience migrating from VMware 7.x to VMware 8.x is strongly desired.

- Deep knowledge and experience with VMware vCenter, Cisco switches, VPNs, VLANs, Server Deployment
- Experience with enclaves and firewalls (e.g., NSX, Cisco ASA)
- Experience related to network engineering design, system fit-up, and system deployment
- General Windows and some Linux system administration and sustainment experience, including patching
- Knowledge working with Storage Area Network (SAN) and Power Distribution Units
- Familiarity with customer Security (i.e., STE/STN) requirements

- Experience with VMware NSX
- Experience with migrating from VMware 7.x to VMware 8.x (strongly desired)
- Knowledge and/or experience with Hardware as a Service (HWaaS)

- Provide optimization and automation across multiple platforms and applications
- Drive consistency for deployment and build processes
- Understand customer requirements and translate them into functional, production-ready infrastructure
