Position Overview Seeking a Jr. SOC Analyst to monitor, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity events in a fast-paced Security Operations Center. Candidates must have hands-on SOC experience and an active Secret clearance or higher. Responsibilities Monitor network traffic, IDS, SIEM, security events, and logs. Identify and prioritize potential intrusions while filtering false positives. Develop, maintain, and follow SOC SOPs. Support daily/monthly situation reporting. Analyze large datasets to identify anomalous activity. Create detection content for IDS/SIEM platforms. Recommend proactive security blocking measures. Create and track security investigations through resolution. Prepare security alerts and incident communications. Advise incident responders on investigation and remediation activities. Monitor emerging vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and countermeasures. Manage multiple priorities effectively under pressure.
