JOB SUMMARY: MCSG Technologies is seeking a Security Manager (CFT) for the USSF Service Exercise team at Schriever SFB, CO. This team supports the 392 CTS-led USSF exercises (e.g., SPACE FLAG (SF), POLARIS HAMMER, Flashpoint, and SKIES series). These exercises are designed to prepare Guardians to execute operations in a realistic contested, degraded, and operationally limited (CDO) environment against a thinking and determined adversary. The Security Manager assist in maintaining compliance with the applicable security regulations, guidelines, processes, and procedures for the USSF Exercise team. Location: This position is on Schriever SFB, CO and requires on-site support.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Plan, develop, coordinate and lead security processes prior to and during 392 CTS exercise events
IAW DoD and HQ guidance develop, implement and monitor 392 CTS service exercise security policies, administration, protocols and procedures
Identify gaps and shortfalls in security and administrative processes and procedures and propose solutions to overcome identified deficiencies
Coordinate with government and other contract leads to establish, implement, and enforce security requirements for the protection of personnel, property, and information during the exercise
Review event-related documents (e.g., trip reports, exercise planning/execution products, after-action reports, lessons learned, meeting minutes, etc.) for security protection IAW government-directed timelines
Coordinate with SAF/IA and local Foreign Disclosure Officers (FDOs) to support coalition SF events as required
Maintain access control systems, respond to emergency situations, and prepare and conduct internal and external vulnerability assessments
Utilize Defense Information Security System (DISS) to coordinate with the SSO and/or the local security managers to ensure personnel participating in USSF exercises are appropriately cleared
Coordinate or provide security briefings, debriefings, and security awareness training as directed
Assist with the destruction, distribution, hand carrying, and wrapping of classified material before, during, and after 392 CTS exercise events
Collect lessons learned (LL) during and/or after exercise/event execution and publish them to appropriate repositories
Develop and execute a process to collect, track, and report USSF exercise conference/exercise participants
Provide security support to all SF administrative processes to include electronic file management and document control/processing
REQUIREMENTS:
SAP security requirements experience
2-3 years experience with DoD classification management procedures
Working knowledge of DoD Manual 5200.01
Working knowledge of DoD Manual 5200.45 “Instructions for Developing Security Classification Guides
Experience with using DISS to pass and collect security related information
Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to focus on building customer relationships
This position requires limited travel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
5 years of administrative support experience with emphasis in security protocols and procedures
Familiarity with Program Protection Plans and Critical Program Information procedures
Excellent knowledge of DoD security protocols and procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook)
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 10 years of relevant experience, including experience with SAP security requirements.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor's degree preferred from an accredited institution.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
