Exciting Opportunity for a TS/SCI-Cleared Software Engineer
Support the DIA-NEMC DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP) Contract
Join our long-term DIA-NEMC DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP) contract as a TS/SCI cleared Software Engineer. In this impactful role, you'll collaborate closely with Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, Architects, and operations engineers/managers on a wide range of system development tasks, including middle-tier and backend engineering.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems (e.g., analytics, algorithm development, large data manipulation, real-time systems, business management systems) based on documented requirements.
- Provide input to system software design, including hardware/software trade-offs, reuse, COTS/GOTS integration, and requirement synthesis from system to component level.
- Design, implement, and integrate software applications or perform other software engineering tasks.
- Apply appropriate methodologies for software design, integration, and production.
- Participate in test, staging, and production deployments.
- Support maintenance of services and procedures for a big data pipeline using Kafka, Elasticsearch, and custom Python/Java microservices on Kubernetes.
- Develop and integrate Docker containers for Kubernetes deployment.
- Monitor automated system integration tests to identify issues.
- Manage project priorities, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Promote a collaborative environment across team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Bachelor's degree with 8-12 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 6-10 years of experience.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and ability to obtain/maintain a Polygraph.
- Experience with containerization (Docker).
- Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab or Jenkins).
- 8+ years of experience with:
- Python
- API development
- Experience with ETL processes.
- Hands-on with enterprise search tools like Elasticsearch.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
- Familiar with Agile methodologies.
- Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash) in a Linux environment.
- Experience with AWS (Lambda and other cloud services).
- Experience with Artifactory.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong team player and proactive self-starter.
- Active Security+ or CE certification.
- Eligible for Privileged User Account (PUA) certification.
- Experience with:
- GraphQL services
- Apache NiFi
- Systems operating at scale
- Kafka or other message-passing systems
- Production/enterprise-grade systems
- Appian low-code platform
- Technologies such as:
- GPU-based Kubernetes
- SALT for deployment automation
- Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Logstash
