Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager (PM) to lead and coordinate all aspects of a mission-critical software development contract in support of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). Based in Albuquerque, NM, the PM will serve as the single point-of-contact (POC) responsible for planning, managing, reporting, and coordinating all activities with key stakeholders, including the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), Integrated Project Team (IPT), NA-IM operations and cyber divisions, and DOE IT Services.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide strategic oversight for all contract activities, including planning, scheduling, coordination, and reporting.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the Contractor and Government stakeholders, including the COR and IPT.
• Participate as a core member of the IPT, attending bi-weekly demonstrations and providing project status updates.
• Within one business day after each sprint, deliver a demonstration, presentation, or status report to the COR, detailing:
o Completed Product Backlog Items (PBIs) and resolved bugs
o Resource utilization and level of effort expended
• Provide summary reports on accomplishments and development status upon COR request.
• Ensure report formats are consistent and COR-approved.
• Coordinate project activities with NA-IM operations, cyber divisions, and DOE IT Services.
• Lead Agile software development teams, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables in accordance with DOE/NNSA requirements.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems or a related Information Technology discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in information systems/technology.
• 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional software engineering teams in support of DOE or NNSA.
• Proven expertise in Agile software engineering methodologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, manage pressure, and deliver quality results in complex environments.
• Active Q Clearance.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• SAFe for Government certification.
• Experience in achieving or maintaining CMMI Level 3 or higher accreditation.
• In-depth knowledge of DOE/NNSA IT programs, policies, and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with Personnel Vetting programs and associated processes.
