Position Overview:
Edgesource is actively seeking a motivated Capture Manager to join our existing Business Development team to contribute to the organizations continued growth and success within our Intelligence Community (IC) portfolio. The person in this role will be accountable for business growth and responsible for leading and winning services as well as solutions-based new business, including competitive captures of significant size, complexity, and/or a unique/complex business model. This role will require on-site work in our Northern Virginia SCIF at least 3 days per week.

Job Duties:
- Lead business development strategic initiatives that are consistent with the company's overall strategy, as well as manage multiple business development initiatives concurrently.
- Developing strong relationships with new and existing IC customers.
- Write and edit classified proposal and Market Survey responses.
- Establish and execute a capture management business development process, including the development of customer contact plans, teaming partnerships, strengthening of customer relationships, determining key decision makers, and mapping win strategies.
- Work independently to pursue development of new business prospects and win major strategic opportunities.
- Work with proposal, sales, and leadership teams to establish and drive marketing campaign plans for the IC market with messaging and themes for tradeshows, conferences, publications, etc.
- Provide accurate and timely long-term forecasting of prospective business opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years of related work experience.
- An already established network within the IC.
- Experience with leading programs and business capture initiatives.
- Experience working with and understanding of the IC Information Technology markets and customers.
- Extensive knowledge of federal acquisition regulations and federal government budgeting processes.
- Strong communication skills experienced with briefing senior business executives and customers.
Desired Qualifications (NOT REQUIRED):
- Advanced degree in a related field.
- Possess an active security clearance.
- Shipley Associates or other related training/certifications.
