Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$108,400 - 227,500 USD

The Opportunity:
You will be a lead engineer who will design, implement, debug, and maintain complex telecommunications systems and related test equipment and supporting IT systems in a laboratory environment that contributes to the mission and operational success of CACI customers.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain complex telecommunications and IP/computer networking equipment
- Work with product development and testing teams to identify and implement creative solutions to problems
- Monitor, diagnose and repair platform hardware and system configurations
- Act as the technical liaison to customers in representing key issues
- Operate effectively and comfortably in a team environment, as a team member and as a team leader.
- Provide input on budgetary estimates for lab environment changes and upgrades
- Prioritize work including meeting schedules, identifying risks and delivering high quality testing environments
- Understand and adhere to all CACI Ethical and Compliance policies
- Proactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to CACI EH&S policies and procedures
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
- Minimum of 7 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience
- Previous experience leading a team working as both a technical engineer and a people manager.
- Knowledge of current and legacy wireline and wireless communication systems and protocols
- Ability to use packet capture tools to verify and debug call flows
- Experience in debugging system-level issues with various lab equipment
- Knowledge of IP networking and security
- Familiar with Windows, Linux and/or Unix-based operating systems
- Willingness and ability to quickly learn new technologies
- A TS/SCI clearance is required to begin employment
Desired:
- Experience in database administration for telecommunication equipment
- Familiarity with server virtualization (VMware, OpenStack)
- In-depth knowledge of VOIP and SIP RFCs
- CCNA certifications
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including writing detailed Methods Of Procedure (MOP) documents
- Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member
- Flexibility to adapt to new and changing environments
- Knowledge of Microsoft software applications
