CACI is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Technical Writer supporting the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Enterprise IT as a Service (EITaaS) program. This role will be critical in supporting our CMDB (Configuration Management Database) and Hardware/Software Asset Management (HSAM) project. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and accurate documentation and communications to support the implementation, maintenance, and ongoing usage of these critical systems. This includes developing end-user guides, internal documentation, process documentation, and proactively communicating updates, changes, and best practices to a diverse audience of technical and non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications: Required: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance 15+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience). 5+ years of experience as a technical writer in an IT environment. Experience documenting CMDB and/or asset management systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera) is highly desirable. Proven ability to create clear, concise, and accurate documentation for technical and non-technical audiences. Experience developing and executing communication plans. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in documentation tools Understanding of ITIL principles and asset management best practices. Ability to quickly learn and understand complex technical concepts. Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus. Experience with screen capture and image editing software (e.g., Snagit, Adobe Photoshop) is a plus.
