Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant with deep expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) full stack, vSphere, and vCenter to support a mission-critical environment. This extended expert role involves working directly under the direction of the customer, providing advanced technical support, system integration, and operational guidance in a secure, high-impact setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in customer planning and technical meetings to align IT solutions with mission objectives
Deliver and maintain a full VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environment
Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support to both the customer and system integrators
Perform knowledge transfer sessions for all supported products upon request
Ensure timely delivery of security and performance patches for VMware products
Offer ad-hoc support to the Field Support Group, including patching for vSphere and the ARIA suite
Troubleshoot and resolve issues during system outages
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in JIRA and Confluence
Support deployment and operations of vSphere, vCenter, VCF, NSX, and the ARIA suite
Required Skills & Experience:
Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
Proven experience with VCF full stack, vSphere, and vCenter
Strong understanding of NSX and ARIA suite (formerly vRealize)
Experience supporting enterprise-level VMware environments
Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and documentation
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-security environment
Preferred Qualifications:
VMware certifications (e.g., VCP, VCAP, or VCDX)
Experience in government or DoD environments
Familiarity with automation tools and scripting (e.g., PowerCLI, Ansible)
