Overview
We’re hiring Software Engineers (Levels SE1–SE4) to design, develop, and enhance mission-critical software solutions for national security programs. You’ll collaborate with engineering teams and government stakeholders to build and maintain high-performance, secure systems.
Responsibilities
• Develop, test, and implement complex software solutions tailored to Government requirements.
• Support the full software lifecycle, including architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Research and integrate new tools, frameworks, and emerging technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects in diverse computing environments.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Mentor junior team members (SE2–SE4 levels).
Experience & Education (by level)
• SE1: BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT + 0 years
• SE2: BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT + 5 years
• SE3: BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT + 10 years
• SE4: MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT + 10 years
Skills & Technologies
• Strong knowledge of modern programming languages (e.g. Java, C++, Python)
• Experience with software design patterns, version control (Git), and CI/CD tools
• Familiarity with Linux, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud environments
• Understanding of secure software development practices
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication
Certifications (Desired)
• DoD 8570 baseline certification (e.g. Security+, CASP+, CISSP)
• Software-specific certifications (AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft Azure Developer, Kubernetes Application Developer)
Security & Compliance
• Active TS/SCI required at time of hire
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Experience working under NISPOM, DCID 6/3, DoD policies a plus
