Overview

Osaava Services is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Supply Chain Networks Analyst to support national security missions under the NOVASTAR contract. This role is focused on analyzing and mapping the structure of commercial supply chains — identifying relationships, dependencies, key suppliers, financing pathways, and potential vulnerabilities — in order to inform decision-makers and counter potential threats.

Key Responsibilities
• Analyze commercial supply chains as complex networks to identify nodes, links, and relationships across sectors, geographies, and jurisdictions.
• Develop data-driven models that highlight interdependencies, critical suppliers, single points of failure, and trends with strategic implications for national security.
• Leverage commercial databases, financial and trade records, public records, and advanced analytical tools to extract and visualize actionable insights.
• Identify risks and vulnerabilities within commercial networks that could impact DoD and IC missions.
• Develop clear, structured intelligence products and visualizations (charts, graphs, presentations) to communicate findings to leadership and stakeholders.
• Coordinate across interagency teams to support analysis, brief findings, and recommend mitigation strategies or further collection requirements.
• Maintain awareness of emerging trends such as onshoring, reshoring, and disruptive technologies that could impact supply chains at a strategic level.

Required Qualifications
• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in commercial network/supply chain analysis, intelligence analysis, financial crimes, or economic security
• Experience using advanced research tools (e.g. LexisNexis, PitchBook, Crunchbase, Dataminr) to evaluate commercial networks and relationships
• Strong knowledge of venture capital, private equity, and other financing models that underpin commercial ecosystems
• Familiarity with geospatial, link-analysis, and big-data tools (e.g. Palantir, Analyst’s Notebook)
• Ability to synthesize and present findings clearly in written and visual formats for senior leaders

Desired Skills
• Experience in threat finance, illicit trade, or foreign adversary commercial practices
• Familiarity with supply chain mapping tools and data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
• Understanding of commercial regulation, sanctions, and foreign trade policies
• Familiarity with advanced analytics concepts (machine learning, social network analysis, predictive modeling)
