About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Financial and Economic Analyst to support advanced national security missions under a highly dynamic DoD program. You will leverage your expertise in financial intelligence (FININT) and economic trend analysis to deliver actionable insights that help inform strategic decisions and enhance mission effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct deep-dive financial and economic research and analysis on commercial networks, economic trends, and potential threats.
• Assess corporate structures, funding sources, and commercial supply chains to detect vulnerabilities or emerging risks.
• Gather, interpret, and visualize data from a variety of classified and unclassified sources to produce concise, clear intelligence products.
• Develop written reports and brief senior stakeholders on findings that drive policy and operational decision-making.
• Liaise with internal teams and external agencies to support broader intelligence and security missions.
• Stay current on global economic and financial developments, leveraging both traditional research techniques and advanced analytic tools.
Required Qualifications:
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, International Relations, Political Science, or a closely related field.
• 3+ years of experience in financial or economic analysis within the DoD, IC, or a comparable environment.
• Strong understanding of commercial supply chains, venture capital/private equity, global economic trends, and financial networks.
• Demonstrated experience producing finished intelligence reports or briefings for senior audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; experience with analytic platforms or data visualization tools is a plus.
Desired Skills:
• Familiarity with Financial Intelligence (FININT) and related datasets.
• Experience with data gathering tools such as Palantir, LexisNexis, PitchBook, or similar.
• Strong communication skills — ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with analytic tradecraft standards (ICD-203) and all-source intelligence methodology.
• Willingness to work as part of a collaborative team under tight deadlines.
