Software Quality Assurance Specialist (Salesforce)
Nightwing is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting a team managing several Salesforce applications within a Scrum Agile environment. The ideal candidate will focus on both manual and automated testing, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. The Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining software quality by identifying defects, documenting findings, and collaborating with the development team.
This position requires an Active TS/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph
Responsibilities:
Conduct manual and automated testing of Salesforce applications to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios specific to Salesforce implementations.
Identify, document, and track software defects using designated tools.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
Participate in Scrum Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Ensure test coverage aligns with user stories and acceptance criteria.
Provide detailed reports on testing progress, results, and defect resolution.
Assist in the development and maintenance of test documentation, including user guides and test scripts.
Implement and utilize test automation tools for Salesforce applications, as applicable.
Continuously evaluate processes and recommend improvements to enhance software quality within the Salesforce ecosystem.
B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven experience as a Software Quality Assurance Specialist or in a similar role. Strong understanding of Salesforce testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing. Familiarity with Scrum Agile development practices. Ability to manage multiple Salesforce applications and work collaboratively in a team environment. Experience with bug tracking and test management tools. Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Salesforce-specific tools like Accelq or Test Automation Framework). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills for documenting and discussing findings. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
