Lockheed Martin's ECIW is part of Lockheed Martin's Rotary & Mission Systems business area. As the company's center of excellence for end-to-end radio frequency mission solutions, this market segment focuses on developing technologies that help the warfighter stay ahead of threats in the electromagnetic spectrum. You'll draw on all your education and experience as well as the resources of Lockheed Martin to keep the threats at bay.

The Work:
Seeking an experienced RF integration and test subject matter expert to support OCONUS/CONUS system installations.
The candidate would oversee integration of complex RF systems which include antennas, amplifiers, optical links, frequency conversion, and precision timing equipment, along with software-defined signal processing and signals analysis technology.
The candidate would lead planning, development, and execution of sophisticated measurements using equipment including precision oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and real time signal analyzers.
The candidate must be well versed in signals analysis techniques broadly applicable across full-spectrum domain applications such as communication or electronic warfare. The candidate should be fully comfortable with RF system architectures and hardware, with a deep understanding of the concepts of RF cascades, noise, signals analysis of waveforms, distortions/non-linear effects, and precision timing.
The assignment is highly hands-on and requires a strong comfort level with working with hardware such as racks of RF equipment and software defined radio servers, as well as antennas and high power amplifiers.
Working-at-height (within large antenna structures) is often required.

The applicant must be eligible for a TS/SCI security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to design, implement, and execute sophisticated RF measurements
• Comfort level with all types of RF test equipment including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, network analyzers, and power meters.
• Ability to author well-written test plans and test reports
• Strong communication skills with high level of experience in both verbal and written reports to customers and executives
• Must have an active TS/SCI
Desired Skills:
• Experience with large antenna systems including parabolic or AESA
• Space domain or ground station experience
• Experience with high power amplifiers
• Experience with RF system concepts - EIRP, G/T, link analysis
• Experience with software defined radio systems
• Comfort level working within containerized software deployment environments (e.g. Open Shift / Kubernetes)

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $120,100 - $208,150. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
