Position: Senior Program Management Support
Work Location: Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, OH
Clearance Requirement: Top Secret with ability to obtain SCI
Position Type / Standard Work Hours: Full-time / 40 hours / On-Site
Summary/ Objective:
Provides program management support to the execution of AFRL/CRI Rapid Innovation activities that span the range of air, space and cyber projects to adapt existing and near-term technology to meet urgent warfighter needs. The projects entail a wide range of technical disciplines and require expertise and understanding of government acquisition processes, technology readiness assessment, rapid and spiral prototype development, operational testing and evaluation, and technology transition processes. A highly capable and experienced acquisition and program management specialist, ideally with operational experience, is required to fill this role.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Participate in the ad-hoc multi-disciplinary teams responsible for assessing, conceiving, developing, and demonstrating rapid and innovative application of maturing technologies to solve urgent operational warfighter needs.
- Provide technical leadership for project planning, contract initiation, contract monitoring, and contract execution.
- Work with the project Program Manager and team members to allocate contractual and in-house work responsibilities, prepare statements of work for contractors, and prepare schedules for completion of work efforts.
- Applicant must have a demonstrated track record in supporting rapid reaction activities, in all aspects of program management and agile contracting for complex technical products including hardware and software.
- A history of effective story telling through the use of multimedia, writing and verbal skills, ability to work well in a team environment, and a demonstrated ability to understand new technology are required.

Required Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience and a MA/MS degree in related field
- In depth AFRL experience / understanding desired
