Job Description:
Our client is seeking a National Industrial Security Program (NISP) Security Manager to support multiple clients primarily in the greater Northern Virginia area (NoVA/NCR). This is a full-time, immediate-hire position offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits. The selected candidate will oversee security management operations, serving as a Facility Security Officer (FSO), Information Technology Personnel Security Officer (ITPSO), and Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO), ensuring compliance with all federal security requirements.
Responsibilities:
Manage and implement security policies and procedures in accordance with National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and 32 CFR Part 117.
Serve as the FSO / ITPSO / CPSO, ensuring compliance with all security regulations and client requirements.
Maintain and oversee security accounts within Defense Information Security System (DISS), National Background Investigation Services (NBIS), and National Industrial Security System (NISS).
Conduct security briefings, debriefings, and training for personnel.
Ensure compliance with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and Intelligence Community (IC) regulations.
Develop and implement insider threat programs, cyber awareness initiatives, and personally identifiable information (PII) protection.
Conduct security audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
Collaborate with government agencies and clients on security-related matters.
Ensure timely reporting and resolution of security incidents.
Must Haves:
Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Polygraph (required).
Minimum 5 years of experience as an FSO / CPSO supporting DCSA and IC programs.- NGA and NRO
Extensive knowledge of DISS, NBIS, and NISS security systems.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Completion of FSO Curriculum for Possessing Facilities.
Strong understanding of federal security laws, Presidential Directives, Executive Orders, and 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM Rule) and ICD’s
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Reliable transportation for travel to client facilities in and around the National Capital Region.
Ability to effectively detect, assess, and resolve security-related matters in a timely manner.

Completion of Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) STEPP training courses, including:
