Parker Tide is seeking Personnel Security Assistants to provide personnel/facility security clearance support services to one of its federal clients.
Title: Personnel Security Assistant
Location: Albany, NY (100% onsite)
Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI
Period of Performance: Base Year + Four Option Years
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in federal personnel security programs.
• Strong understanding of federal adjudication policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with NBIS/e-APP systems and other federal IMS platforms.
• Experience with 10 CFR 710 adjudicative processes.
• Prior work with large-scale security file digitization or clearance volume management.
• Knowledge of SEAD 4 and DOE O 472.2A standards.
Personnel Security Processing
• Assist in processing 18K clearance actions annually, support the adjudication of approximately 100 administrative review cases, and manage a robust records and information management system that supports 18K personnel security files (PSFs).
• Support the processing of clearance requests, adjudications, terminations, incident reports, and due process actions per 10 CFR 710 and SEAD 4 guidelines.
• Review and process documents using NBIS and e-APP systems and other security tools.
• Maintain compliance with agency directives, regulations, and desktop procedures.
• Identify and resolve deficiencies in security documentation.
Records Management, Correspondence, and Mail Handling
• Maintain accountability and control over current and terminated classified and unclassified PSFs.
• Support digitization and destruction of files; coordinate with Federal Records Center via ARCIS.
• Propose improvements to Records Management practices.
• Operate a secure mail station; prepare and distribute classified and unclassified correspondence in accordance with regulations.
• Ensure timely, secure handling of inbound and outbound mail, including physical PSFs.
Administrative Information and Data Management
• Support up to 40 active administrative review cases at a time.
• Review/prepare documentation that complies adjudicative guidelines for access authorization.
• Perform data entry into personnel security, facility clearance, and investigative databases.
• Reconcile and audit data between HQ and Field Offices.
• Generate reports, dashboards, and briefing materials as needed.
