Key Responsibilities
Candidate is responsible for building and maintaining the cloud native system
Candidate must readily adapt to changing requirements; keep up-to-date on emerging technologies;
and be ready to help implement these new products and technologies to enhance the system.
Technical Requirements
Experience with Linux (Red Hat and CentOS desired)
Enterprise Service - Active Directory, LDAP, DNS
System security, hardening, and accreditation (e.g. DCID 6/3, ICD-503)
Automated OS and cloud infrastructure installation
Cloud virtualization
Configuration and use of - nat, dns, ldap, nis, nfs, iptables, free ipa
System performance monitoring, and tuning
Performing, monitoring, and designing system backup plans
Create, debug, and enhance scripts (e.g. bash, csh, Perl, ruby, python, expect)
Automate repetitive tasks
Basic knowledge of switching, routing, IP addressing, and networks
Experience with multicast
Train others on system maintenance duties
Source code control systems, both use and administration (cvs, subversion, git)
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Gluster, Ceph
Education
A Bachelor's degree in computer related discipline is desired but not mandatory. Candidate may
substitute relevant work experience.
