In this highly visible role, you will lead a team of writers and illustrators responsible for developing operational and maintenance technical manuals supporting advanced radar and air defense systems. You’ll work directly with engineering teams, program leadership, and customers to ensure mission-critical documentation is delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned to quality and compliance standards. Key responsibilities include coordinating installation and fielding activities, supporting hardware/software modernization efforts, managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), participating in Estimate at Completion (EAC) activities, monitoring cost and variance reporting, leading Integrated Process Team (IPT) meetings, supporting safety and engineering peer reviews, and coordinating validation events and customer reviews. Qualified candidates should have experience with Cost Account Management (CAM), bids/proposals, MIL-STD-40051 and/or S1000D, along with technical or functional leadership experience. Experience with publishing systems such as Eagle Publishing System is highly desired. Strong communication, strategic thinking, and project management skills are essential. This role offers the opportunity to support cutting-edge defense technology programs that directly contribute to global security and innovation. Domestic travel estimated at approximately 20%.
